Jodhpur: Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and his wife Naunand Kanwar along with 15 other parties were on Tuesday issued notice in the Rs 900-crore Sanjeevani Credit Cooperative Society scam case.
The notices were served following a hearing of the petition of Sanjeevani Victims Association by Rajasthan High Court bench comprising of Judge Vijay Vishnoi.
Advocates Amit Kumar Purohit and Madhusudan Purohit had filed a petition before the HC stating that a huge sums of money were invested in the Sanjeevani Credit Cooperative Society where the investors did not get returns.
Those victims have found the 'Sanjeevani Victims Association' on behalf of which a petition was presented in the court stating that the investors were tricked by the operative society into making huge investments by showing fake records and posters.

In the petition, it was requested that the matter should be investigated by Enforcement Directorate (ED), Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the investors should be paid.
In the preliminary hearing, the High Court has issued a stay notice and show cause notice to all the parties involved including Union of India, Vikram Singh, Vinod Kanwar, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and his wife Naunand Kanwar.
