Minister unhappy with Modi's image on vaccination certificate

Rajasthan health minister Dr. Raghu Sharma raised a question regarding the picture of PM Narendra Modi on the vaccination certificate.

Jaipur (Rajasthan): Rajasthan health minister Dr. Raghu Sharma on Wednesday, posed a question regarding the picture of PM Narendra Modi on the vaccination certificate.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Sharma said, "The state government is bearing the cost of the vaccine to people between 18 and 45 years. So why is the photo of PM Modi being put on the vaccination certificate?

The Central government should ensure that the picture of the State's Chief Minister should be printed on the vaccination certificate for beneficiaries from 18 to 45 years of age.

Rajasthan reported 154 new Covid-19 fatalities and a record 16,974 new cases of the viral disease on Tuesday, taking the state's death toll to 4,866 and its infection tally to 6,68,221.

According to an official report, the number of active cases increased to 1,97,045.
