Jhalawar (Rajasthan): Violating the lockdown order and chief minister Ashok Gehlot's order of social distancing, Rajasthan Congress leader Shailendra Yadav distributed food to poor people in state's Jhalawar district which resulted in a large gathering of people.
As per reports, neither the Congress leader nor the people had taken any preventative measures.
When ETV Bharat talked to Yadav about this violation, he said, "It's better that people die after having a meal instead dying of hunger."
It is to be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced a complete lockdown of the entire country for 21 days in an unprecedented drastic measure in order to break pandemic's chain of spread.
