Rajasthan: 4.0 magnitude quake strikes Sikar

Many areas in Rajasthan experienced early morning earthquakes on Sunday. Tremors of 4.0 magnitude were felt at 05:11 am in the Sikar region of the state. There have been no reports of injury of loss of property.

Sikar: An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the richter scale struck off Sikar district in Rajasthan on Sunday.

No immediate damage or casualties have been reported.

The epicentre of the quake that hit at 5.11 am was 10 kilometre below the surface of the earth near Shri Madhopur between Sikar and Jaipur.
