Jaipur: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will address a rally in Jaipur on January 28 to unite youth against 'anti-people policies' of the BJP-led central government.
The rally - 'Youth Outrage Rally', will focus on the youths and students who are facing problems because of lack of jobs and rising unemployment due to the prevailing economic situation in the country.
An executive meeting called by Indian Youth Congress was held in Jaipur on Wednesday in connection with the Youth Outrage Rally, which recorded maximum participation of youth associated with Congress-backed National Students' Union of India (NSUI).
Youth Congress National President BV Srinivasan, Rajasthan Youth Congress President Ashok Chandna, NSUI National President Neeraj Kundan, Rajasthan NSUI President Abhimanyu Punia, State chief minister Ashok Gehlot and Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot were present in the meeting.
While interacting with media after the executive meeting, Gehlot and Pilot asserted that Rahul Gandhi's full-fledged youth rally will register maximum participation from NSUI and IYC.
At this juncture when the economy of the country is in shambles and youth remains unemployed, he said, Rahul Gandhi will address India's young generation on such issues which have taken a backseat under Modi regime.
The minister further said that the rally is being organised on the instruction of All India Congress Committee (AICC) and it is a matter of pride for the state congress unit that Rajasthan has been chosen for Rahul Gandhi's first rally.
