Jaipur (Rajasthan): The Mansarovar police commissioner arrested a young man, Banesh Bansal aka Bablu for betting on European T10 Cricket League, after conducting a raid at Mansarovar Golden Path here.
Over 6 lakh 25 thousand rupees in cash have been recovered from Bablu, following which, additional police Commissioner Ashok Kumar Gupta said that this is believed to be the highest amount of cash recovery in a similar incident.
The police have also seized nine mobiles, chargers, earphones, laptops from the bookie. Many other monetary transactions have also been seized in connection to the matter.
A case has been registered under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) on the basis of the mobile phones seized from Bablu.
