Dausa (Rajasthan): Around 18 villages of Sirkai and Lalsot assembly constituencies of Dausa district in Rajasthan have no mobile network, which means the locals cannot register for vaccines on the CoWIN and Aarogya Setu app.
This hilly region of Rajasthan is still waiting to get full benefits of government schemes even after 73 years of India's independence. Here, the people still live in traditional ways and remain cut off from the rest of the world.
The government has made the registration of vaccines online through mobile apps. The whole vaccination campaign in the area has become a sort of joke for the locals.

The Central government's much-hyped "Digital India" campaign has failed in this underdeveloped region of Rajasthan. Due to the lack of mobile networks, children are also not able to do online classes. Recently, a paved road was constructed which has eased the transport challenges for the locals.
Even the officials in the Rajasthan administration face difficulties reaching these remote villages. Due to this, issues in these areas don't reach the government authorities. The region is represented by Rajasthan's Women and Child Development Minister, Mamta Bhupesh and Industry Development and State Enterprises Minister Parsadi Lal Meena. Jaskaur Meena of Bharatiya Janata Party is the Member of Parliament for this area. But the villagers allege that election promises have not been fulfilled.
