Modi to celebrate Diwali with soldiers on Indo-Pak border

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who generally celebrates Diwali with soldiers posted in different parts of the country every year, is expected to do so either in Jaisalmer of Rajasthan or Bhuj in Gujarat this year. Sources said preparations are on at both the places to welcome him.

Jaisalmer: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to celebrate Diwali with soldiers deployed along the international border with Pakistan either here or Bhuj in Gujarat, sources said.

Preparations are on to welcome the Prime Minister at both the places as he may go to any of the bordering areas to be with soldiers of the Indian army on the occasion of Diwali, they said.

The Prime Minister has been visiting different border areas to boost the morale of the soldiers during Diwali over the years.
