Karauli (Rajasthan): A 15-year-old boy was allegedly shot dead by a miscreant in Madi bhat barula village under Langra police limits in Karauli district of Rajasthan on Saturday.
The deceased minor has been identified as Tejram Gurjar of the same village.
According to police, the incident took place on Saturday morning when the boy was returning home after feeding buffaloes, he then was shot dead by the miscreant who happened to be a dacoit.
The accused person has been identified as Ramveer Gurjar, a resident of Mareka Kuan Pati village.
According to sources, accused who is on the run shot 15-year-old boy who was declared dead by the doctors.
On being informed by the villagers, Langra police station SP Anil Beniwal reached the spot and took information about the incident.
SP Anil Beniwal told that Ramveer is the accused person who opened fire on Tejram. The police personnel of five police stations are looking for the dacoit. The search operation is going on near the river of the Dang area. As many as 12 cases were also registered in Mandrayal police station against the accused.
While the exact cause behind the matter is yet to be ascertained, police have initiated a probe into the matter. Meanwhile, a manhunt has been launched to nab the assailant.
