Bharatpur: In a spate of cybercrimes across the country, yet another case has come to the fore where youth from Bengaluru allegedly committed suicide after being harassed by an online gang of thugs from Rajasthan's Mewat.
The Bharatpur police arrested two people in this regard and took them to Bengaluru for further investigation.
According to reports, the thug-gang created a fake profile on social media in the name of a woman and indulged in sex chats with the victim.
Further, they blackmailed him of making the chats public and extorted lakhs of Rupees from him. Frustrated over the continuous blackmailing, the victim, a UPSC aspirant, took the extreme step.
The police said that they have also found a suicide note on victim's phone where he revealed about the harassment by the gang.
