Jodhpur: Amid the rift in the Rajasthan Congress over the Lok Sabha debacle, Rajesh Mehta, spokesperson of the state Congress IT cell, said that Ashok Gehlot should be replaced with his deputy Sachin Pilot as the state chief minister.
Spokesperson of the state Congress IT cell, Rajesh Mehta has come out openly in support of Sachin Pilot.
Talking to ETV Bharat he said that Pilot really worked hard to form the government. Now the leadership of the state should come in the hands of a youth leader.
He further said that the time has come for Ashok Gehlot to step down as the chief minister of the state and the high command should nominate a young leader like Sachin Pilot for the post.
On the auspicious occasion of Sawan, Mehta also performed havan for Sachin Pilot.
