Jaipur (Rajasthan): BJP MLA from Rajasthan's Rajsamand, Kiran Maheshwari, who was undergoing treatment for COVID-19 at Medanta Hospital in Haryana's Gurugram passed away on late Sunday night.
She had tested positive for COVID-19 on October 28 after which she was admitted to a local hospital in Udaipur.
However, after her health deteriorated, she was shifted to Medanta hospital.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot condoled the death of Kiran Maheshwari.

Her mortal remains will be brought to Udaipur for the final rites today.
Born on 29 October 1961, Kiran Maheshwari had also served as the Minister of Higher Education in the Rajasthan government. She also held the post of national general Secretary, national vice president, and chief of women's wing of the BJP.
