Jaipur (Rajasthan): Three men including a Kashmiri youth have been arrested on Monday in connection with SBI Bank ATM robbery case in Rajasthan's Jaipur where a gang of miscreants looted around Rs 24 lakh by cutting the ATM with the help of a gas cutter.
Muhana Police stated that the gang was earlier involved in robbing a gold loan company in Haryana's Gurugram in 2017 where they looted over 30kg gold and Rs 8 lakh cash at gunpoint.
The miscreants have been identified as Devendra, Ranjan Kumar and Abdul Waheed.
Additional Police Commissioner Ashok Kumar Gupta in a presser revealed that the incident took place on June 22 at Dholai village in Jaipur following which a team of CST along with DSP South started the investigation.
They searched all the CCTV cameras located in the region and located the car used in the crime.
Taking the accused into custody, police also recovered gas cutters and other tools from their possession.
During the interrogation, it was revealed that Waheed kept a track on the ATM and provided detailed information to the robbers.
Police are searching for the rest of four gang members and trying to recover the robbed money.
