Banswara: The prevailing heatwaves in Rajasthan are adversely affecting the daily lives of people here. The water levels have also gone down and no proper water arrangements have been made by the government. Mahi Dam, which has a capacity of 77 TMC, is unable to quench the water needs of people.
The numbers of patients in hospitals have also increased due to the high temperature. Some people have also migrated to some other state in search of employment.
The heatwave condition has gripped a large part of the country including Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh and Rajasthan and it would escalate in the upcoming days, warned IMD.
Everyone should stay hydrated, avoid heat exposure and stay inside their house during heatwaves alert, said the Met Department.
If a severe heat wave is likely to persist for more than two days, vulnerable people should take extreme care, it advised.
