Gurjar agitation to intensify over reservation demands

The Gurjar protests led by Vijay Bainsla continued for the sixth straight day as the people from the Gurjar community blocked the railway tracks even on Friday and remained adamant over their demand for reservation. Bainsla has once again said that the movement will continue till the government fulfils their demands.

Bharatpur: As the Gurjar reservation movement in Rajasthan's Bharatpur continues for the sixth day, Gurjar leader Vijay Bainsla on Friday said that the movement will continue till the government fulfils their demands.

According to sources, people from the Gurjar community blocked the railway tracks even on Friday and remained adamant over their demands.

Meanwhile, Gurjar leader Bainsla issued an ultimatum that they will intensify if demands not met within 12 hours.

"The youth are not getting employment. There is anger among them. Our movement will continue. We have spoken to Rajasthan CM Gehlot, but nothing has happened so far," Bainsla said.

Due to the ongoing Gurjar reservation movement in Rajasthan, the Delhi-Mumbai railway track was disrupted on Friday for the sixth consecutive day.

In the ongoing negotiations between the Gurjars and the government, most of the demands have been agreed upon, but the issue of the backlog is stuck.
