Aligarh: An Aligarh woman has written to the District Manager (DM) regarding road construction in her village to facilitate the movement of her baraat.
Taking cognizance of Karishma Kumari's request, the DM Chandrabhushan Singh has given instructions to the concerned department for immediate road construction.
In her request letter, Karishma had written about her wedding to be held on February 27 and explained that the since the road is old and damaged the water collects there creating troubles for the movement of vehicles.
"On 27, when the baarat will come to my village, it will face difficulties due to the worn out, damaged road. Please do the needful to repair the road so that my wedding can go ahead without any hindrance," the letter read.

Responding to her request, the DM immediately called BDO Iglas and instructed to solve the problem quickly.
He ordered the PD DRDA that the road to Nagla Chura village should be constructed before the woman's wedding in any case and there should not be any kind of negligence in it.
