Behror (Rajasthan): At least two dozen miscreants attacked a police station in Rajasthan and freed an alleged criminal on Friday. The 'freed' criminal has been identified as Vikram alias Papla Gurjar who was arrested at the wee hours earlier that day.
They also looted a police vehicle.
The armed men barged into the Behror police station in the Alwar district at 9 am.
The miscreants were carrying AK-47 rifles.
After the incident, there was a stir in the police department. Bhiwadi Superintendent of Police Amardeep Kapoor has reached the spot to inspect the matter.
The police are scanning the CCTV footage for clues. The state highways between Jaipur and Delhi, and Alwar and Narnaul have been sealed and search operations are underway.
