Karauli (Rajasthan): A family of four, including two children, were found dead by villagers here, a police official said.

He said the police were informed by 'Pradhan' of the village that four people have been found dead with one of the bodies hanging from the ceiling.

The police official told ETV Bharat that the cause of the deaths would be known only after the postmortem report is out.

He, however, said that looking at the crime scene it seems that the man committed suicide after killing his wife and children.

"It could be a possibility but the real cause would be known only after the postmortem," he said.

A case has been registered and the probe is on, the police added.
