8-year-old raped in Rajasthan's Alwar, accused held

Rajasthan police arrested a man who allegedly raped a minor girl in Alwar district. During the interrogation, it was found that the accused used to live with the girl. Further investigation into the matter is underway.

Alwar: An eight-year-old minor girl was allegedly raped in Rajasthan's Alwar. Police arrested the accused and found that he used to live with the girl during the investigation.

"The incident occurred on Wednesday night. The minor girl is presently out of danger and she is being treated at a hospital. Prima facie, it is found that the accused used to live with the girl. We are investigating the matter," said Deepak Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Alwar South.

"We will be investigating the matter and interrogate the accused thoroughly," he added.
