Army intelligence agencies have detained an employee of the Jodhpur Military Engineering Service (MES) for sending confidential information about the military the Pakistan based ISI.

Jodhpur: Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) has detained an employee of the Jodhpur Military Engineering Service (MES) on Tuesday for sharing confidential information about the military to Pakistan based ISI through WhatsApp. Falling into an honeytrap, the accused Ram Singh a resident of Sirohi district came in contact with a Pakistani woman through the social media platform.

According to the military sources, the accused was sending a messages to the terrorist organisation for the last three months. After getting suspicious about him, the army intelligence was interrogating him at Jodhpur base camp. Later on Tuesday, he was sent to Jaipur where he will be interrogated by several intelligence agencies.

In the preliminary inquiry, various confidential information has been recovered from his phone by the agency.
