COVID ends one generation of a family in Jodhpur

Three brothers of Vyas family from Jodhpur have succumbed to Coronavirus with 28 days leaving the family in distress. With the whole world putting hard efforts to discover a vaccine to treat COVID, the Vyas family will never be able to recover from this pain.

Jodhpur: The outbreak of coronavirus pandemic has not spared anyone. Even after a ten-month long struggle, the contagion remains a challenge for the whole world. For how long people will continue to suffer from this infection and when will the world get a vaccine to break the shackles of COVID? Although many countries are claiming to have found the vaccine, there is no solid basis for this claim.

The tragedy is that, in this very challenging phase of time, people are not able to save their dear ones from succumbing to this disease. A shocking case has been reported from Jodhpur in Rajasthan. Here within 28 days, three members of the same family have lost their lives due to COVID infection. However, even if the world gets a COVID vaccine, this family will never be able to recover from the shock.

Once a happy and prosperous Vyas family of Jodhpur is now in deep pain. Three brothers of this family have departed from this world one after another. On 7 September, 65-year-old Shyam Vyas, the eldest brother, died of Corona. After his funeral, other family members also got their samples tested and few members of the family were detected to be COVID positive too.

The condition of Shyam's younger brother Ashok Vyas, who was 58 years old, suddenly started deteriorating following which he was immediately admitted to AIIMS. After a week of treatment, Ashok lost in his battle of life and died on September 20. The suffering of the Vyas family did not end here. On October 5, 45-year-old Sanjay Vyas also succumbed during treatment in a private hospital due to the treacherous disease.

The Vyas Family lost its entire generation within one month. This calamity that befell on them is not over yet. Currently, six other family members are also infected by the pandemic. One can only pray that the members who are ailing from this life-threatening disease remain safe and recover soon.
