According to officials, these workers will be given occupation considering their area of interest in small industrial units of Jaipur as well as factories in surrounding areas.

These factories will have to pay the workers as per the government rate, while also providing them lodging facilities.

Yugantar Sharma,Jaipur collector said,"We have tested around 721 people and all them are corona free. They were expecting lockdown to be uplifted by April 14 but it didn't happen. Seeing their condition, we have decided to classify them according to their past occupations".

The government believes that through this, the labourers, who are restless to go home, will not only be relieved but also be saved from the economic problems that will arise after the lockdown.

It is pertinent to note that this comes as the Rajasthan government said that a modified lockdown will be implemented in the state in a phased manner from April 21 that will allow industrial units in rural areas to operate.
