Rajasthan co-operative bank gifts silver coins to collectors

The meeting of co-operative Banks in Rajasthan held virtually was attended by 21 members but silver coins were distributed to more than 40 people. These include seven collectors who were given these coins as gifts.

Jaipur: Seven district collectors and chairman of co-operative Banks in Rajasthan were given silver coins of 250 grams each in a meeting hosted by the bank. The same bank also distributed loans to farmers. The cognizance of the matter has been taken by co-operatives minister Udaylal Anjana who has asked for the report within two days from the secretary co-operative Kunjilal Meena.

Anjana said action will be taken in the matter only after the report is furnished.

According to Anjana, when Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot himself is instructing to work with resources judiciously in the Corona era, and all ministers are adhering to it, then what was the need for the Apex bank - run by farmers' hard earned money - officials to give such expensive gifts.
