Jodhpur: A Jodhpur Rural Police constable was arrested by the Madhya Pradesh Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday for illegally carrying one quintal 90 kg of poppy husk.
The Narcotics Control Bureau team has registered a case under the NDPS Act against the constable and has initiated an investigation into the case.

According to the Narcotics Control Bureau, on Saturday, information was received that Subhash, a constable of Jodhpur Rural Police, was carrying illegal poppy husk in his own vehicle. Based on the tip off, the team of Narcotics Control Bureau took action and arrested Constable Subhash and seized his car.
Constable Subhash, arrested under NDPS Act, is posted in Highway Mobile in Balesar, a rural area of Jodhpur. At present, Jodhpur Rural SP said that departmental action will be taken against the constable by gathering information in this regard.
