Bhilwara: A trailer truck collided with a van killing five and injuring more than 12 people in Bhilwara district in Rajasthan.
Sources said that there were 15 people in the van who were returning after attending a wedding ceremony. The accident occurred near Banas river in Jahazpur.
Upon receiving information, Harish Sankhan, Jashpur police station in-charge immediately reached the spot and took the injured to the district hospital. The dead and injured were taken out of the van after strenuous efforts by local people and the police.
The collision was so severe that the front part of the van was completely destroyed. Traffic was at a standstill in the area for an hour.
