Ajmer (Rajasthan): The Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday arrested a broker with a bribe of Rs 2.2 lakh, allegedly in the name of the Vice Chancellor of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University in Rajasthan's Ajmer.
According to ACB DSP Mahipal Singh Choudhary, the accused Ranjit Singh was taking a bribe in the name of Vice Chancellor RP Singh, when he was caught red-handed.
An ACB team led by SP Samir Kumar Singh reached the VC's residence, and started investigation to determine his involvement in the matter.
