Bharatpur: Presenting themselves for arrest in connection with an FIR filed against them on account of holding a public meeting without ensuring proper implementation of Covid-19 guidelines, the leaders of Gujjar Sangharsh Samiti met District Magistrate here and said they either be arrested or a complaint against Congress leaders, including Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, be filed within the next 24 hours as they too held several meetings without giving any importance to the coronavirus guidelines.
They also presented him with a letter for Governor Kalraj Mishra in this regard.
The Gujjar leaders, who have been demanding the implementation of the law under which 5 percent reservation in educational institutions and government recruitment was given to the community, said there should be same laws for everyone.

"If they can file an FIR against us, then there should be an FIR against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee president Govind Singh Dotasra and party leader Ajay Maken as there is proof against them holding meetings in the busy areas of the state.
BJP leader Vijay Bainsla said the Congress leaders should be booked accordingly. "There should be the same punishment for identical crime," he asserted.
