Alwar: The Alwar gang-rape case in Rajasthan created a nation-wide stir as people, including senior political leaders, took to the streets to condemn the incident but the victim said so far nothing has been done by the law enforcement agencies and central government.
In an interview with ETV Bharat, the victim spoke about the painful experience that she was subjected too.
While the incident turned into a major topic of public discussion for many institutions and political parties, the rape victim demanded severe punishment for the perpetrators but the victim stated that she was not satisfied with the action taken so far.
Narrating the incident victim said she and he
r husband were going on a bike when the incident took place on April 26.
She informed that a group of men in two-three bikes forced the couple to get down and robbed them of their money.
Victim stated that she was sexually assaulted by them and the accused also recorded the act in their mobile phone.
She claimed that accused latter called her husband and demanded money threatening to make the video public. According to her they allegedly blackmailed the couple of releasing the recording on social media if their demands were not met.
The victim has urged the central government to provide them a government job and help them relocate to a new place.
