Baran: A man in Rajashthan has accused the police of failing to take action after his daughters were tricked and raped by a man.
He said the police described the case as 'normal', an allegation denied by the police in Baran district.
The police said the two minor girls in their statement to the court said they volunteered to go with the man.
Both the minor girls' aged 13 and 15 years reside in the Lanka colony area of Baran Kotwali.
''Both were at home on the night of 18 September, but they were not found on the morning of 19. I gave a complaint to the police, on which a case was registered. The police registered the case on September 20 and presented it in the court. The girls were drugs, but the police have made the case normal. No action was taken against the suspect, Earlier the police had also caught another boy along with the girls, but released him'', the father of the girls said.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, the police officer in Baran - Ravi said, he stated that after the registration of the case, the police had managed to get the two girls out of Kota.
Simultaneously the case was presented before the Child Welfare Committee. The statements of both the minor girls were recorded in the court.
In their statement, the girls did not accuse anyone and said their father did not allow them to live a free life.
