Dr Sanjay Madhav, member of AIKSCC, addressing the media

Addressing the media, Dr Sanjay Madhav, member of AIKSCC, said that farmers are staying at the Rajasthan-Delhi border.

"Framers will reach Kotputli on December 12, from there they will collectively march to Delhi. Farmers will also take care of logistics and carry other essential goods with them," he said.

In order to give impetus to the protest, it has been decided by the AIKSCC to intensify the demonstrations at the district and tehsil levels as well.

It is pertinent to mention here that farmers had rejected the government's proposal over the farm laws and called for a nationwide sit-in protest on December 14.

The protest against the farm laws has been going on since November 26. The central government has held five rounds of talks with the farmer leaders, but no breakthrough has been achieved yet.
