Meanwhile, Congress MLA Gulab Singh Rajput said that those who wanted to betray people left the party.

"Strategy for Rajya Sabha election will be discussed here. No MLA is going to break away from the party. Only those who wanted to betray people left the party. Those who disrespected people's mandate and left the party won't be forgiven by them," Rajput told media.

"The MLAs from North Gujarat assembly constituencies are likely to stay in the resort for few days. Leaders have come here for a tour and we are not afraid of cross-voting," said Congress leader Kirit Patel.

Asked about three MLAs who had resigned and joined BJP thereafter, Patel said, "Those who have joined BJP were rebel MLAs. I am confident that atleast 25 leaders staying in the resort are loyal to the party.

However, sources said that around 20 MLAs are currently staying at at Wildwinds resort and it is expected that more MLAs may arrive in the evening. If sources are to be believed, these MLAs may be shifted to Jaipur later.

The MLAs Chandan Thakore, Bharat Thakor, Gainiben Thakor, Shivbhai Bhuria, Gulab Singh Rajput, Kanti Kharadi, CJ Chavda, Baldev Thakor Reetik Makwana, Rajesh Gohil, Mahesh Patel, Rajendra Singh Thakor, Ashwin Kotwal, Wajesi Panada, Jashubhai Patel, Naushad Solanki, Lakhbhai Bharwad, Nathabhai Patel, Suresh Patel, Girit Patel, Sailesh Parmar, Himmat Bhai Patel reached Rajasthan under the supervision of Gujarat Congress leader Siddharth Patel.
