8 arrested in NEET Exam 2021 paper leak case in Jaipur

Police have arrested at least 8 people in Jaipur after the NEET exam paper leaked from an exam centre in the city. The paper was leaked in the Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology in Bhankrota.

Jaipur: A total of 8 people have been arrested from Jaipur in connection with the NEET Exam paper leak case in the city. The incident was reported in the Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology in Bhankrota on Sunday.

Taking action into the matter, the police have arrested Mukesh Kumar, Ram Singh, Dhaneshwari Yadav, Sunil Kumar, Navratna Swamy, Anil Kumar, Sandeep and Pankaj. The investigation revealed that the officials related to the management department of the college had released the paper in exchange for Rs 35 lakhs.

Police further revealed that the administrator of the college Mukesh is the kingpin of the gang and he along with his partner Ram Singh leaked the paper. The accused have been taken on remand till September 20. Police have also recovered cash worth Rs 10 lakh from the accused.
