Dholpur (Rajasthan): Nearly three months after a temple priest was killed in Karauli district of Rajasthan, resulting in a major backlash from the opposition parties, a fresh controversy has erupted after a 60-year-old farmer was allegedly killed by a group of six men from Khanpur Mina village on Tuesday.
According to the reports, Ghamandi Singh, went to his field in the wee hours of Tuesday when six people - Sri Bhagwan, Pushpendra, Mangal Singh and others thrashed the farmer.
The farmer's son Baniya Singh, in a complaint, said that those who were responsible for the killing of his father had threatened to stop working on the field but he ignored their threats.
Meanwhile, the police reached the spot and sent the body for an autopsy.
