Churu (Rajasthan): Three police personnel have been suspended for allegedly demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 90,000 from three young men, who were held two days ago for disturbing peace, official sources said.
They said the incident took place on August 16 when a girl informed the Kotwali Police Station here that she was in a hotel and might get in trouble because of three young men there. Following which the police reached there and arrested the three men.

The three policemen Sub-Inspector Ram Pratap Godra, Assistant Sub-Inspector Sumer Singh and Constable Nandlal involved in the operation reportedly asked for a sum of Rs 90,000 from the arrested for not registering the case.
The men then informed Superintendent of Police Deshmukh Paris Anil, who suspended the three policemen and ordered an inquiry against them, the sources said.
