Jaipur: In a never-seen-before case, a three-month-old infant with near-white blood has been admitted to the JK Lone Hospital, Jaipur and has become a topic of wonderment as well as research.
The child currently under medical supervision is reported to have a high level of lipids and cholesterol, rising speculations of Hyperlipidemia.
Confirming the case, Dr Ashok Gupta, former Superintendent of JK Lone Hospital and in charge of Rare Disease Center said that recently a case related to a rare disease has come in the hospital where the blood colour of the child is nearly white.
To ascertain more about the case, the baby's blood samples have been taken and are investigated.

Scientifically, due to the presence of haemoglobin which contains a red-coloured compound called heme crucial for carrying oxygen through the bloodstream, the blood appears to be red.
