New Delhi: The strife within the Punjab Congress unit doesn't seem to get resolved anytime soon. Punjab Chief Minister, who was in the national capital for the last 2 days, has gone back to Chandigarh without meeting the Congress high command.

This was the second visit of Capt Amarinder Singh to Delhi within a month but no meeting is being held either with Sonia Gandhi or with Rahul Gandhi. This can be seen as a setback for Punjab CM as he had to return to Chandigarh a day after he met the three-member panel, constituted by the Congress President to resolve the ongoing feud within the Punjab unit.

It is being said that the three-member panel has given an 18 point Action plan to Captain Amarinder Singh on the issues which were being raised by the party MLAs and MPs against the CM.

This includes sacrilege matter, sand mafia, drug mafia, transport mafia and many other issues. Sacrilege matter is very important for us. We are satisfied with the actions taken by the Punjab Government till now but in the next 4-5 days, you'll see strict steps being taken by the Government on these matters."
