Amritsar (Punjab): Amid the COVID-19 induced lockdown over 300 Indians are stranded in Pakistan and are fighting their days odd.
Kamaljeet Singh son of Sardar Satvir Singh and Jasmit Kaur said that, his parents had gone for a pilgrimage to a Gurudwara in Pakistan on March 10th, 2020. For the next few days things were going fine.
Following which the nationwide lockdown was declared and his parents got stuck up there. Meanwhile a kind hearted Sikh family took his parents to their home and since then his parents are staying at Sardar Amreet Singh's house.
"My father is a heart patient and is facing shortage of medicines, due to lockdown it has become difficult to make medicines available for him. My mother too is a patient of blood pressure," Kamaljeet further added.
Kamaljeet has requested the government, Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of the state to make arrangements to bring his parents back to India soon.
He also had asked the government to bring all the Indians stranded in foreign countries including Australia and America.
