Chandigarh: Commissioner of Police Rakesh Agrawal on Saturday chased a speeding car for at least 12 km that had rammed into his security vehicle in Ludhiana city in Punjab and arrested two miscreants after a few shots were fired.
The Commissioner chased the Honda Jazz that sped off after hitting a vehicle in his security detail. The police reportedly fired to puncture the car tyres. One of the car occupants suffered two bullet injuries.

The car smashed through several police barricades before its driver was cornered and overpowered along with a co-passenger, the police said.
Punjab Police has a 'zero tolerance policy' against such acts, Director General of Police Dinkar Gupta has said.
