Chandigarh: Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has once again advised Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh's government on the issue of electricity in the state.
Sidhu wrote in a tweet that the power purchase agreements signed by the former CM Parkash Singh Badal should be canceled to fulfil the 18-point agenda set by the Punjab government high command. Therefore, Punjab Legislative Assembly should convene a session to make a law to fix the electricity prices as per the National Power Exchange.

Punjab already provides 9000 Crore Subsidy but we must do more for Domestic & Industrial consumer giving power at Rs 3-5 per unit instead of surcharge inflated Rs 10-12 per unit, along 24-hour supply with No Power-Cuts & Free Power (Upto 300 Units).. It is definitely achievable.
