Gurdaspur (Punjab): The surveillance drone ARPA of the Indian Air Force crashed into the field of village Malo Gil in Punjab's Gurdaspur due to a technical failure on Tuesday. Soon after the crash, the BSF jawans handed over this drone to the Air Force.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, a BSF official said, "After losing contact, the Air Force team started looking for the drone. The search started in the area of loss of contact and the surrounding area. After a search operation of 1.5 hours, the drone was found dropped in village Malo Gil."

Initially, the movement of the helicopter in the sky of Malo Gil village created panic among the natives, but later a group of local natives along with the Air Force reached the spot to search the drone. Currently, the Air Force has taken possession of the drone.
