Anupam Kher campaigns for wife Kirron Kher in Chandigarh

After the three phases of Lok Sabha Election 2019 culminated, the campaigning for Phase 4 has hit the pitch. In Chandigarh, actor Anupam Kher was seen campaigning for his wife and BJP candidate Kirron Kher. He was also seen campaigning for her back in 2014 when she defeated Pawan Kumar Bansal.

Chandigarh: Actor Anupam Kher was seen campaigning for his wife and BJP candidate Kirron Kher here on Thursday. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat was also present in the roadshow.

Actor Anupam Kher was also seen campaigning for his wife, actress Kirron Kher back in 2014. People expected him to leap into politics from acting back then, but the actor has maintained a distance from the arena.

BJP's sitting MP Kirron Kher from Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency is once again contesting against old rival Pawan Kumar Bansal from the seat.

Kher had defeated Bansal from the seat in 2014 Lok Sabha elections by a margin of around 70,000 votes.

Voting on Chandigarh seat will be held on May 19. The result will be announced on May 23.
