Bolangir (Odisha): A pregnant woman, who had boarded the Shramik special train from Kazipet in Telangana to Odisha's Bolangir, delivered a baby girl at Titilagarh Railway station On Sunday.
According to sources, a woman namely Hema Kanti complained of labour pain near Titilagarh following which the loco pilot stopped the train at Titilagarh Railway Station.
Later, Hema delivered a baby girl at around 10.15 AM in the presence of Railway Divisional Medical Officer.
The mother-baby duo was deboarded at 10.55 am and shifted to Government Hospital. Their condition was stated to be stable during the filing of this report, sources said.
Notably, this is the second such delivery case in a train in Odisha in the last 48 hours.
