Kalahandi (Odisha): Duleswar Tandi famously known as Dule Tandi has emerged as the voice of migrant workers across the nation after his rap songs have grabbed the attention of Bollywood. Tandi is a migrant labourer from Borda village of Odisha's Kalahandi district and his rap songs are dedicated to the plight of migrants.
Seeking reply from the government over injustice and atrocities meted out to migrant labourers, he has become a well-known figure on social media.
Popular Bollywood playback singer and music composer Vishal Dadlani seems to be impressed with the extraordinary talent of Tandi following which he has also extended help to the rapper for producing, recording and releasing his music in Mumbai.
Apart from this, the music composer also asked his fellow celebs to have a look at the performance of 'Rapper Dule Rocker’.

Dule has also gained appreciations from several Bollywood personalities including Swara Bhaskar, Richa Chadha and Sona Mohapatra.
During his early days, he also sustained his living as a part-time tuition teacher and at times survived on water mixed rice with some leafy vegetables.
Because of his vivid projection of the prevailing reality in the society, his songs are more about hardships of labourers.
Tandi's friend Bikash Nayak said," He is like a lotus flower which blooms from the mud. Dule would now go to the celluloid world of Bollywood from his potsherd tiled house in a backward district. I am sure that he will shine like other Bollywood stars and will become the pride of Odisha."
