The Indian Air Force has deployed three C-130J Super Hercules aircraft to Bhubaneswar for humanitarian and disaster relief after cyclone Fani hit the state. 12 people have died in Odisha in the aftermath of Cyclone Fani. Cyclone Fani hit West Bengal on Saturday.

Bhubaneswar (Odisha): The Indian Air Force on Saturday deployed three C-130J Super Hercules aircraft to Bhubaneswar for humanitarian and disaster relief.

The aircrafts are carrying 45 tonnes of relief material including medicines for the locations affected by cyclonic storm Fani.

Cyclone Fani made landfall in Odisha yesterday as heavy rainfall was witnessed in capital Bhubaneswar and around one million people were evacuated from low-lying areas of the state.

12 people have died in Odisha in the aftermath of Cyclone Fani. Cyclone Fani hit West Bengal on Saturday; however, its impact was subsided at the time of its arrival in the state.
