Nuapada (Odisha): Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans busted a Maoist camp in Patadaraha forest near Bhainsamundi village under Boden police limits in Odisha's Nuapada district on Sunday.
The battalion also seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition which includes 33 electronic detonator, 2 pistols, 5 rifles, 3 rifle barrel, and other incriminating materials.
However, the ultras managed to flee before they could be apprehended.
According to CRPF officials, the Maoists were planning an attack of huge scale. The plan was foiled when the CRPF personnel launched a raid based on specific information.
Following the recovery, the CRPF personnel have intensified combing operation in the area.
