The unique saga of bonhomie between a leopard cub and kids has been the talking of the town in Maharashtra's Shirdi. The three-year-old cub comes daily and plays with kids and has become a dearest friend of three kids of a family.

Shirdi (Maharashtra): The unique saga of friendship between a leopard cub and school kids has become the 'talk of the town' in Maharashtra's Shirdi. The cub has befriended the kids and comes to visit them, every day.

It might sound hard to believe, but it's true that the cub plays with kids and returns to its habitat in the evening.

According to locals, this three-year-old cub comes daily and plays with kids. He has become a dearest friend of three kids of the same family.

They further said that the cub visits the family residing on Shirdi-Shingare road. Initially, children were scared of going near it out of fear. But, the cub continued to come and now everybody has become familiar with him.

One of the children, Diya, said that they have named him Baghira.

"He plays with us. When my Papa says him to go, he quietly returns. We do not fear him now. After returning from school, we play with him like a pet," added Diya.
