Mumbai (Maharashtra): The Mahavikas Aghadi government completed one year on November 26. Congratulations to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and his colleagues. However, during this one year, this government has not done any concrete work. Nor has he been able to do justice to any of the elements. The government has not done anything for the farmers, Dalits, tribals and even the common man. Therefore, this year has to be called a failure, said Union Minister of State for Social Justice Ramdas Athavale.
Shiv Sena and BJP fought together
At the time of formation of the government, however, Shiv Sena formed the government by joining hands with Congress and NCP. Parties of different ideologies came together and formed the government and created a single sensation. Athavale has also criticized this alliance as the year is coming to an end for the government of these three different ideological parties.
Had it been Balasaheb, this 'alliance' would not have taken place
No one thought that Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress would ever ally. However, such an alliance was formed and Uddhav Thackeray got a chance as the Chief Minister. However, if Balasaheb Thackeray were alive today, the picture would be different and such an alliance would not have taken place, said Athavale.
Nothing has happened for the farmers
In this one year, the government has not taken any significant or reassuring decision for the farmers. So even in the Corona period, the situation was not handled the way it should have been handled. Crisis like wet drought and heavy rains on the other hand hit the state and affected many. Farmers have suffered huge losses. This government has failed to provide proper financial assistance to farmers. Shiv Sena could not be of any help to the farmers. Even during the Fadnavis government, Shiv Sena was playing an insistent role for this. However, even though Uddhav Thackeray is now the Chief Minister, the farmers have been left empty-handed, Athavale insisted.
Dalits and Tribals ignored as well
Athavale accused the alliance of ignoring Dalits and tribals. After this government came to power, the farmers did not get justice to the toilers. However, Dalit-Adivasi and other backward classes have also been neglected by this government. No concrete decisions have been made to bring them to justice. The decision on promotion and reservation of backward classes is lingering. Athavale alleged that the government could not do justice to this factor, he said
Your 'Karma' will bring down the government
Mahavikas Aghadi government is coming to power and now one year is coming to an end. However, from the day this government was formed till now, this government will not last long. The BJP has consistently claimed that the government will fall at any moment. State President Chandrakant Patil has just predicted that the government will fall in two months. When asked about this, Athavale said that neither Narendra Modi nor Devendra Fadnavis or Chandrakant Patil is interested in overthrowing the government. We do not want to overthrow the government. There is no need for that. "Because this government will one day fall by itself because of its work," Athavale said. After that we will form a government, I believe.
