The horrifying incident has come to light from Maharashtra's Wardha district. The video shows a snake coiled around the neck of a seven-year-old girl for nearly two hours before biting her.

The family members of the child, identified as Divyani Padmakar Gadkari of Borkhedi of Selu in Wardha, had woken up in the middle of the night after hearing a hissing sound in their room. The family found a snake curled around the neck of the young girl.

Afterwards, the family rushed the girl to the hospital in Sevagram, where she is currently undergoing treatment.
