Mumbai: The second wave of covid is getting worse day by day. An average of 60,000 new cases is being registered every day in the state. Despite this, there is also an increase in the recovery rate of patients, which comes as a great relief. This fact was revealed by the data received from the state government’s health sector. The recovered number of patients had crossed a total of 74,000 on the 23rd of April. As the recuperating rate has increased the growing distress has also reduced. Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur districts have reported the highest number of recovered patients among the newly registered patients. The number of corona patients is increasing in the state on daily basis. On the other hand, the rate of recovery has also increased, which comes as a huge relief. In order to break the chain of coronavirus, a strict lockdown has been imposed in the state till the 30th of April. It will be important to know what the situation would be post-lockdown.
