Mumbai: Bollywood actor Ananya Pandey left the Narcotics Control Bureau office with her father Chunky Pandey on Friday after four hours of interrogation by the agency in connection with the Cruise ship drugs case. The agency has asked her to come again on Monday (October 25) for another round of questioning.
"She has been called again on Monday morning, questioning will be continued. Further procedure will take place," Ashok Mutha Jain, NCB DDG said. "I've no such info as of now," Ashok Mutha Jain added when asked if the actor gave any info regarding numbers of drug peddlers sent by Aryan Khan.
Earlier in the day, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), official sources hinted that there is apparently no evidence of any 'drug-related exchanges' in Ananya's alleged WhatsApp chats with Aryan Khan, the son of King Khan.
The sources reluctantly divulged that there are 'no traces or references' of any Marijuana (Ganja) or weed-related chat in the two star-kids' WhatsApp communication being scanned in-depth by the NCB. More likely, Ananya is being questioned for her version by the NCB for some different leads it has collected in the case, but the officials declined to elaborate.
The latest disclosure comes in the wake of certain unconfirmed media reports claiming the emergence of at least three purported WhatsApp chats between the two star-kids allegedly discussing drugs, etc. which the NCB was probing now.
Earlier on Thursday, the NCB had interrogated the actress for about 2 hours based on WhatsApp chat in the Aryan Khan's mobile. The actress was accompanied by her father and actor Chunky Pandey during her arrival at the NCB office.
